BEŞLER UN
Beşler Makarna Un İrmik Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. began wheat flour production in 1992 in a 24,000 m² facility located in Gaziantep's 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, the commercial center of the Southeastern Region. Initially operating with a daily production capacity of 250 tons, the company continuously renewed its technology and increased its capacity to 2,126 tons per day, making it one of the largest flour production facilities not only in Turkey but also in the Middle East and the Balkans. Additionally, by expanding its marketing network through a total of 50 distributors—both main and sub–dealers—across the country, it has become a highly sought-after brand.
Beşler Un has become a preferred brand not only in Turkey but also in nearly 50 countries, including Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Northern Cyprus, Togo, Somalia, Ethiopia, and many African countries. It also provides significant foreign currency inflow as an official supplier to international aid organizations such as the United Nations.
During harvest seasons, our company purchases large quantities of wheat directly from farmers, becoming the region’s largest wheat buyer. Additionally, it imports approximately 700,000 to 1,000,000 tons of wheat annually, sourcing from Turkish Grain Board (TMO) depots domestically and from countries such as Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Germany in the European Union.
Starting production in 1993 with a capacity of 250 tons of wheat grinding per day, Beşler Un now operates the highest-capacity production facility in Turkey and the Balkans, consisting of two factory buildings with five units on a single campus.
With a daily wheat grinding capacity of 2,100 tons, the company plays a key role in determining wheat, flour, and bran prices within the sector. In its fully automated production facilities, quality is ensured through expert engineering oversight and laboratory analyses at every stage—from wheat intake to flour packaging.
