ALSER GRASS

Founded in 2007, Alser Çim Tarım Tekstil Sanayi ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. began its operations in the natural seed carpet sector and developed the natural seed carpet product—an economical, easy, and innovative grass planting method. Our company started its activities in 2007 in Karşıyaka, İzmir.

Since 2011, we have been operating in the agriculture and landscaping sectors in the Kemalpaşa district of İzmir.

We produce three products: AL-Ser Grass – Natural Seed Carpet, AL-Ser Tobacco Seedlings, and Geotextile Felt. We hold all commercial rights to the first two products and we are the sole manufacturer in Türkiye.

Alser Grass – Natural Seed Carpet is a fiber blanket made from poplar and/or beech wood, containing grass seeds distributed homogeneously and selected according to the climate conditions of the application area.

It is a new product for grassing areas in Türkiye and, with the advantages it provides, it surpasses other planting methods (such as sod, hydroseeding, and manual seeding). Since the seeds are placed between fiber layers, they are protected from birds, ants, and other organisms that cause seed loss—thus preventing seed loss entirely.

Considering that all grass seeds used in Türkiye are imported, the use of Alser Grass – Natural Seed Carpet will eliminate seed loss, reduce excessive seed imports, and make a significant contribution to the national economy.

Thanks to its water retention capacity, it provides up to 40% water savings. Compared to other planting methods, it enables more efficient grass growth with less water. Today, due to the impacts of global warming, careful and efficient use of water is essential.
